Manama, July 7 (BNA) The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that it has exceeded the subscription of the monthly issuance of Al Salam Islamic Securities Sukuk by 330%.
Subscriptions of BD141.769 million were received for the BD43 million issue, which mature within 91 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins July 13 and matures on October 12, is 3.96% compared to 2.96% for the previous issue on June 15.
Al Salam Sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of Bahrain. This is version 255 (BH0008F91639) of the Short-Term Peace Instruments Series.
