Manama, December 7 (BNA) The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that the monthly issuance of short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Ijarah Sukuk, has exceeded the subscription by 552%.
Subscriptions of BD 144 million have been received for the BD 26 million issue, which has a maturity of 182 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on December 9 and matures on June 9, 2022, is 1.63% compared to 1.43% for the previous issue on November 4.
Ijara Sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This is Issue No. 196 (BH00068H4W07) in the Ijara Short Term Sukuk Series.
