Manama, July 5 (BNA) The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that the monthly issuance of short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Ijara Sukuk, has exceeded 248%.
Subscriptions of BD64.5 million have been received for issues of BD26 million maturing within 182 days.
The expected return on the issue begins on July 7 and matures on January 5, 2023, which is 4.05% compared to 3.15% for the previous issue on June 9.
Ijara Sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of Bahrain.
