Manama, November 6 (BNA) The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that it has obtained the “ISO 27001/2013” certificate for information security management issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), after fulfilling all related requirements. To international standards and achieve the highest level of efficiency in the application of information security policies and procedures.
On this occasion, Governor Rashid Al-Maraj received the information security team at the Central Bank of Bahrain, in the presence of the Deputy Governor Sh. Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Executive Director of Corporate Services, Mr. Yousef Rashid Al-Fadhel, and Director of Information Technology Department, Mr. Tariq Muhammad Al-Alawi. The Governor expressed his appreciation for this achievement and the Bahraini competencies that worked on it, stressing the keenness of the Central Bank of Bahrain to adopt the best information security standards to support its supervisory and supervisory role in the banking and financial sector.
