Manama, November 28 (BNA) The Ministry of Labor and Social Development is intensifying its efforts to ensure adherence to precautionary measures against the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) in various work sites and labor camps across the country.
The Occupational Inspection and Safety Administration is conducting a four-week campaign to encourage workers to take the booster injections that protect them from the epidemic and its variants.
The first phase of the campaign included 27, 340 commercial outlets, 8,277 industrial establishments and 6,695 construction companies across the Kingdom of Bahrain. The campaign will be expanded to include other production sectors.
The ministry urged employers to be vigilant during this period, amid the outbreak of a new variable (the Omicron variable), and to take all precautionary precautions at work sites and labor camps.
The Occupational Inspection and Safety Administration distributes multilingual leaflets containing safety guidelines to be followed in worksites and labor camps.
