Your role and responsibilities

Main responsibilities
Develop a strategy to position IBM as a partner with target client companies
– Assess the market and customer competitive landscape to understand customer priorities and identify opportunities for IBM to add value
Establish and maintain trusted relationships with c-suite executives in client organizations
– Performs pre-sales, sales, evaluations and solution development activities
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to scope, resolve, propose, close and deliver complex engagements

Core skills and insights
– Strong verbal and written executive communication skills
Ability to strengthen relationships and create demand within existing and new accounts
Ability to manage multiple and complex sales engagements and collaborate across functions
Ability to estimate complex programmes/projects – from a solution, resource needs and budget perspective
Effective communication with the ability to motivate teams (both internal and external) and gain immediate respect and credibility
Easily assimilated into the company culture and become an engaged member of a high-performance team
Ability to negotiate winning proposals and a track record of consistently exceeding aggressive goals

Professional and technical experience required
Experience in being able to clearly describe the overall business processes and key integration points, work across functions across various business processes within the organization, and know the challenges that implementation teams face
Experience in signing general industry projects
Experience in management consulting is required

Preferred professional and technical experience
Experience working directly with C-level executives to deliver transformational initiatives with significant company-wide visibility and impact on performance
Working with clients in the general industry
– Knowledge of Arabic is preferred
