London, Aug. 7 (BNA): Substitute Josh DaSilva saved his late goal for Brentford as the visiting team came from two goals down to draw 2-2 in the opening game of the Premier League at Leicester Stadium on Sunday.
DaSilva sealed the equalizer four minutes before the end of the game for Brentford, who had outplayed him for most of the match, according to the Associated Press.
Leicester deservedly advanced with two goals to none after goals in each half from Timothy Castagne and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall before Evan Toni pulled the difference in the 62nd minute.
Leicester dominated the first 45 minutes so much that the lead could have been much greater than 1-0 in the first half.
After Brentford striker Brian Mbiomo scored a volley at Leicester goalkeeper Danny Ward in the 10th minute, traffic was one-way.
Madison was the dispatcher when the Foxes took the lead in the 33rd minute as Castañe rose to the highest level to score a powerful corner kick.
Ria was hit again three minutes before the break, but Tillmans’ 25-yard shot bounced off the right post, and the Foxes doubled the lead just 30 seconds into the second half.
Jamie Vardy sent Dewsbury-Hall 25 yards off the goal and the local midfielder fired a low shot into the bottom corner.

Going into the match in the final quarter, Brentford continued to improve and came close to equalizing when Tony slipped his mark into the far corner and headed in inches deep.
But, out of nowhere in the latter stages, Da Silva netted a shot from the edge of the penalty area to equalize after cutting from the inside to his left foot.
