Manama, Jan. 11 (BNA): The Bahrain International Endurance Village is witnessing the hosting of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Championship for private stables for a distance of 120 km.
The tournament is being held under the directives of His Majesty the King’s Personal Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), and under the auspices of the First Vice President. President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, affirmed that the federation is keen to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Nasser through early preparation for organizing the race after the impressive success witnessed by the international, local and qualifying races for His Highness’ championship. BREEF will hold a meeting in the presence of the riders, administrative and technical bodies, to provide a detailed explanation of the stages of the race, cooling points, and others.
