BRCS starts distributing Ramadan aid to 4,000 families

Manama, March 14 (BNA) The Bahrain Red Crescent Society has started distributing aid for the holy month of Ramadan to more than 4,000 families in 73 cities and villages in various governorates of Bahrain.

The association provides this assistance to needy families registered on its lists.

Adel Al-Jar, head of the Social Services Committee, said that the association has made the necessary preparations to ensure the smooth distribution of aid to needy families, benefiting from its experience of more than four decades.

“We express our gratitude to the volunteers and members of the association, especially the Social Service Committee, for their tireless efforts in meeting the needs of our valued beneficiaries,” he said.

“We assure that all sections of the association work together to identify and support those in genuine need.”

The Bahrain Red Crescent Society called on companies and institutions operating in the country, as well as philanthropists of citizens and residents, to make the donations they hope for the success of the aid program this year, as they did in previous years.
