what are you going to do

At Chalhoub, together we build distinctive brands. Our Brand Manager is responsible for delivering critical and bottom line goals for a group of brands or a single brand. You will oversee business operations across markets/networks and will work closely with store staff and retailers to ensure goals are achieved through advanced customer and people experience while increasing brand awareness and sharing amazing experiences together.

Participate in preparing the annual budget and strategic plan
Participate in strategic meetings with suppliers, marketing, merchandising and regional teams to negotiate commercial terms (margin, animation and exclusivity)
– Coordination with the marketing team. Recommending the marketing mix for existing stores and new openings
Receive the allocated annual budget and monitor budget completion in coordination with Finance
Monitor and direct daily operations to ensure goals and objectives are achieved in terms of sales, margin and profit targets and take corrective action when necessary
Approving the brand mix and overseeing the smooth implementation of opening, closing and refurbishment of stores and/or counters and is often involved in order planning
Maintaining smooth relationships with suppliers/brand owners and business partners
– Negotiate objectives, locations and brand support with key suppliers
Promote excellence in customer service by conducting surveys and analyzing standards
– Analyze and improve cost effectiveness. Preparing advertising review budget updates in cooperation with the General Manager
Attending sales managers/retail managers meetings to review counter performance: sales achievements, marketing activities, staff training
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors’ activities. Submit action plans and follow up on implementation
Ensure proper implementation of the in-store marketing animation plan/guidelines from the brand owner
– Analyze the profitability of meters/brands and monitor their market share
Review monthly reports on customer and sales analysis, shopper insights, store traffic and warehousing / KPI counter and prepare action plan accordingly
