Sharjah, October 2, (BNA) The Director General of Bahrain News Agency, Abdullah Khalil Buhiji, Director General of the Emirates News Agency, Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi, and other executives on the sidelines of the Government Communication Forum 2022, which was held at the Expo Center in Sharjah, under the patronage of a member of the UAE Supreme Council. His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.
The two sides discussed means of cooperation between the Bahrain News Agency and the Emirates News Agency, especially news exchange, and training and development opportunities.
They discussed press and technical exchanges in a way that enhances joint media orientations and highlights the successes achieved by the two brotherly countries in various fields, and in a manner that reflects the advanced level of the depth and development of bilateral relations at all levels.
During the meeting, the Agency’s Director General praised the success of the International Government Communication Forum 2022 in providing insights on the importance of effective government communication in facing changes and transforming challenges into opportunities.
The International Government Communication Forum is one of the initiatives organized by the Sharjah Government Media Office on an annual basis. Its first session was launched in 2012.
The forum is the largest gathering in the region to discuss the best global practices in government communication. The event will witness a meeting of a group of Gulf, Arab and international media professionals and government thought leaders in the United Arab Emirates.
The forum, which is held annually, seeks to bring international best practices in the communication sector and build a new system in government communication.
