Biden tests negative for COVID, isolating until 2nd negative

Washington, Aug. 6 (BNA) President Joe Biden tested negative for COVID-19 on Saturday, his doctor said, but will continue to isolate at the White House until the second negative test.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor wrote in his latest daily update that the president is “in extreme caution” he will adhere to the “strict isolation measures” in place since he was found to have “recovered” on July 30, pending a follow-up – until a negative result.

Biden’s travel has been suspended because he is awaiting a negative test. He plans to visit Kentucky on Monday to see the catastrophic flood damage and meet families, according to the Associated Press.
