BIC set for F1 Pit Walk Thursday, valuable prizes on offer in ’10 Every 10’ Race Day raffle

Manama, March 1 (BNA): Fan activities for the highly anticipated 2023 Gulf Air Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix kick off on Thursday with the F1 Pit Lane Walk, open to all ticket holders at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir.

The popular activity gives fans a great chance to see top-flight teams and their cars up close while in the F1 lane, as they prepare for the biggest weekend of the year from Friday to Sunday (March 3 to 5) in “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

The Bahrain International Center will open its doors for the pit lane on Thursdays at 6pm and close at 9:30pm. The pit will be held from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Those interested in attending are advised to get to the rink early as the large crowd is expected.

All participants will be able to see the members of the F1 Team hard at work in their garage as they prepare for all the Grand Prix events, which start on Friday morning. Fans will be able to take pictures and, if they’re lucky, get to see one of their favorite F1 drivers in their garage, working with the engineers and mechanics.

Lane walking is one of the most popular activities of the race weekend each year, with thousands turning out to participate.

It’s just the first of many exciting fan interaction activities throughout the weekend at BIC.

Another is a great lottery where race-goers will have a chance to win valuable prizes on race day on Sunday (Editor’s note: March 5th).

All seated along the 10,500-capacity Main Stand will be included in the drawing and may come as one of the many lucky winners of the BIC’s “10 out of 10” drawing.

All they have to do is sit in their assigned seats from 4.45pm until the start of the 57-lap night race at 6pm. Ten random winners will be announced every 10 minutes during this period, adding to the excitement among attendees.

Prizes include high-end mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, headphones, earphones, game consoles, and much more.

Fans are advised to be in their seats at the appointed time as the winners will be determined by their seat numbers. They will be announced and located by BIC staff, so they must be in their seats in order to claim their prize.

Racegoers should not miss this great opportunity, so they must ensure that they are in their main seat in the main grandstand for the duration of the draw. Only those who have tickets for the main stand can participate in the draw.

The Gulf Air F1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 opens the new Formula 1 season and will be the 19th edition of the world famous Formula 1 desert race.
