BIC announces complete sell out for F1 2023

Manama, February 28 (BNA): Bahrain International Circuit, the “Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,” today announced that tickets for the 2023 Gulf Air Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix have been completely sold out.


Following exceptional demand during the sales period, final grandstand tickets are now sold out by fans ahead of the highly anticipated first race of the season this weekend at Home of Motorsport in the Middle East.


Ticket sales for 2023 are at record levels across the board. In addition to selling out all of the grandstands, the Paddock Club, Dome Lounge and corporate lounges, BIC will welcome the largest number of international fans in its 19-year history, reflecting the continuing appeal of racing around the world.


With the excitement of racing at its peak, the lucky fans who got their tickets are gearing up for a weekend of amazing racing and entertainment. The event begins on Thursday evening, with the rally giving all ticket holders the unique opportunity to view the Formula 1 garages and works teams. This will take place at 7pm on Thursday, with gates opening at 6pm.


As a result of the sale, BIC has released the following critical information for the 2023 event:


Please do not travel to the circuit this weekend unless you have a ticket or confirmation of your tickets. There will be no tickets available for sale at any points of sale.


The Bahrain International Circuit urges fans not to purchase tickets from unauthorized sellers and the Bahrain International Center is not responsible for tickets purchased elsewhere. BIC reserves the right to refuse access if you are found to be in possession of a ticket not purchased through authorized sellers or a fraudulent ticket.

For those traveling to the circuit, due to the popularity of the event, fans are advised to arrive as early as possible, to avoid delays on entry. Fans should keep a close eye on gate times, which are available at BIC’s Bahraingp.com.


Fans are asked to ensure their parking card is affixed to the windshield prior to arrival. Permits are issued for every three tickets purchased and can be collected from our stands at Bahrain World Expo or City Centre. Additional passes can also be purchased at these venues.
