BIBF to provide training to Tawuniya within modernization process

Riyadh, June 7 (BNA) The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) announced that it will partner with the Tawuniya Insurance Company (Tawuniya) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to develop a specialized training program for Tawuniya employees on property and casualty insurance.

This program, which was launched at a celebration in Riyadh, is part of the development and modernization process carried out by the “Tawuniya”, in line with the rapid changes in the insurance sector in the Kingdom and the region.

It also coincides with the company’s new strategy 2025 to hone the skills of employees and improve their capabilities at all levels through high-quality training.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sheikh at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Financial Studies expressed his pride in launching the program that seeks to refine the skills of Tawuniya employees and develop their professional capabilities, especially in accident and property insurance, by providing advanced training in line with the best standards of international academic and professional education.

The Sheikh pointed to the level of confidence of local, regional and international institutions in the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, which made it the top academic institution specialized in financial and banking studies and related matters.

The institute also provides academic expertise and technical capabilities that contribute to improving the quality of educational outputs in accordance with international standards and standards.

The head of the BIBF Insurance Center, Manal Mashkour, said that the institute has extensive experience with the programs of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in the United Kingdom, the world’s leading provider of insurance studies and accredits the majority of units offered by the Chartered Insurance Institute. institute.

She added that it also provides 260 CII credits for its internal courses, as it is the only one in the Middle East and North Africa region and the only institute in the world to offer an insurance diploma in Arabic.

The Tawuniya is a Saudi joint stock company established on January 18, 1986.

It is the first national insurance company licensed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to engage in all types of insurance business in accordance with the principle of cooperative insurance accepted in Islamic Sharia.

Tawuniya provides its clients with more than 60 types of insurance including medical, auto, fire, property, engineering, accident insurance, marine, air, takaful, liability insurance and many other types of insurance.
