BIBF students win first place in CFA Research Challenge 2022-2023

Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, Rasheed Mohammed Al-Maraj, received the Institute’s students who won first place in Bahrain. 2022-2023 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Research Challenge.

The governor congratulated the institute’s team on this achievement, as the institute’s team competed with many local universities in the Kingdom.

The BIBF team of undergraduate students included Salma Al-Abbasi, Mustafa Al-Sayyad, Ahmed Ghazwan, Maryam Al-Khawaja and Noor Al-Hashemi who chose a public company in the logistics sector to conduct their research.

The BIBF President honored the students and congratulated them on their achievements.

He added, “Their performance is evidence of the quality of education at the institute and the advanced level of its students and faculty members. We are proud of this achievement and wish the students all the best in their future endeavours.”

The Financial Analyst Research Challenge is an annual international competition that provides university students with hands-on experience in analyzing financial and stock data and preparing research on investing in financial markets. The competition attracts thousands of participants from all over the world and is considered one of the most prestigious competitions for university students and postgraduate students.
