BIBF receives Royal Police Academy delegation

Manama, February 27 (BNA) The Director of the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hamid Al-Sheikh, received a delegation from the Royal Police Academy.


The meeting discussed issues of common interest and ways to enhance training, academic cooperation and exchange of experiences, especially in the fields of scientific research, training and development.


The Director emphasized that such visits contribute to strengthening the ties between the Ministry of Interior and the Institute.


He also praised the Academy’s efforts in preparing, qualifying and developing the Ministry’s employees to improve their performance, and actively contribute to the development of police, legal, social and other human sciences, within a framework of basic values ​​and principles derived from the Islamic religion and authentic Bahraini Arab customs.


Dr. Al-Sheikh stressed that the institute constantly seeks to develop cooperation tools with all public and private institutions in order to develop sound work procedures in a way that contributes to raising the level of services provided to citizens, by providing the best. Training services that meet the needs of national cadres.


The delegation was briefed on the institute’s academic and training initiatives, its departments, work progress, development stages, and the most important programs through which the institute seeks to enhance human capital skills in the Kingdom.


They toured the new building to see the various facilities available and equipped with the latest training and education systems.
