BIAS 2022 announces dynamic forum program

Manama, October 19 (BNA) The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) will include an exhibition showcasing the latest aircraft, technologies and innovations in the global aviation industry and a forum.


The event is held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and under the supervision of His Majesty’s personal representative, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of BIAS.

The sixth edition of the exhibition will provide a dynamic platform for thought leadership as part of its three-day event, as well as networking and business development opportunities.

The organizing committee announced the forum program, to be held from November 10-11, which will discuss airports and airlines, shipping and logistics, and women in space and space.

“We are pleased to announce the BIAS Forum 2022 programme, which forms a very important part of the Airshow. It is one of the main draws of the event and serves as an important platform to facilitate industry collaboration on topics of paramount importance to its sustainable growth and progress. With an impressive array of participants and expert speakers in attendance, we will explore Important topics and trends from across the industry. We will also give attendees an unparalleled opportunity to listen to and interact with market leaders directly on the most important topics,” said the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi.

The Forum will take place on the second and third days of the event in the Exhibition Hall, providing future-focused content and facilitating the exchange of ideas and knowledge about the latest trends shaping the world of aviation and aviation today.

The panel discussions are specifically designed to serve as an exchange platform, where senior aviation executives from the GCC and international companies collaborate to raise issues of mutual interest, with civilian and military delegations from the Gulf region and beyond.

The program includes senior representatives from well-known aviation organizations, such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, IATA, Gulf Air, Bahrain Airport Company, Air Arabia, UAE Space Agency, Orbital Space, Airports Council International, KPMG, International Space University, Mag drive. and DHL Global Forwarding.

The 4th Manama Air Symposium (MAPS 2022) will also be held before the air show on November 8, in the presence of aviation chiefs and invited military personnel.
