BIA releases family area tickets

Manama, October 27 (BNA) The Bahrain International Airshow 2022 (BIAS) announced that Family Area tickets are available for the upcoming sixth edition.

The exhibition will be held from November 9-11 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and under the supervision of His Majesty’s Personal Representative and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of BIAS His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa. successor.

BIAS is organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTT) and the Royal Bahraini Air Force in collaboration with Farnborough International.

The Family Area will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. over the course of the three-day event.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the various activities accompanying the air show.

The exhibition will include the Heritage Village that will present a variety of local products made in Bahrain in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development, and the Food Festival in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, along with displays of Bahraini folklore.

While the family entertainment area does not include access to the aircraft exhibition area and will be limited to aviation delegates and businessmen, individuals and families can enjoy watching the pilots show off their skills as they perform exciting performances in the skies of Sakhir.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet teams from all over the world, including the RAF’s aerobatics team, Red Darts, the day and evening Global Star shows with airborne fireworks, and the Emirati Knights Team set to take part.

The family zone will also provide a variety of entertainment for children such as face painting, competitions and games with the participation of their favorite cartoon characters. Educational and fun workshops for children between 8 and 12 years old will also be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Clever Play.

Family Zone tickets for 12 years and over are priced at BHD 5 per day, while children under 12 years old are free to enter.

Tickets can be purchased and used for one of the three days of the air show and sold online on the Bahrain International Airshow website, at all Bahrain Post outlets, and can also be purchased directly from the event site in Sakhir.
