Manama, Aug. 3 (BNA) The Bahrain Bourse, a self-regulating multi-asset market, has received two prestigious awards for its outstanding performance in promoting sustainability and investment awareness.
Bahrain Bourse won the “Best Sustainable Stock Exchange – GCC 2022” award from Global Banking and Finance Review and “Best Investor Awareness Initiatives for Financial Awareness” – Bahrain Bourse 2022” from International Finance.
Both “Global Banking and Finance Review” and “International Finance” are known for recognizing international entities for their outstanding performance and are considered reliable indicators of excellence, which in turn reflect the efficiency of Bahrain Bourse and its efforts towards more sustainable practices in addition to responding to the aspirations of investors within the capital market. The prestigious awards received in 2022 are testaments to Bahrain Bourse’s track record of achievement and outstanding performance on multiple fronts, including sustainability and investor awareness.
On this occasion, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Bourse, said: “As one of the signatories to the Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative (SSE), our goal is to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability-related disclosures to enhance the flow of capital.
