Doha, May 11 (BNA): President of the Bahraini Football Association, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, witnessed today the draw for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, which was held in Doha, State of Qatar.
The draw was also attended by the Secretary-General of the Football Financial Federation, Rashid Al-Zoubi, and the assistant coach of the national football team, Ahmed Issa.
Sheikh Ali praised the role of the Asian Football Confederation under the leadership of AFC President Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, praising its efforts in promoting Asian football.
He praised the 2023 AFC Cup draw ceremony, which reflects the development work that has been done to support the Asian federations.
In a statement, the BFA President wished the national football team all the best and success in the upcoming 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
Bahrain is placed in Group E along with South Korea, Jordan and Malaysia.
