Manama, Jan. 8 (BNA) The Elections Committee for the 30th session of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the election of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry on March 19th. Elections will be determined at a later time.
During its first meeting held last Thursday, the committee affirmed its keenness to provide the highest standards of impartiality, fairness, transparency and efficiency in managing the electoral process for the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s board of directors.
The committee headed by Adel Hussein Al-Maskati approved the appointment of Abbas Abdul Mohsen Radi as deputy chairman of the committee.
The committee approved the board of directors’ elections schedule for the 30th Chamber of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and discussed forming a sub-committee to verify the list of eligible voters, as stipulated in Decree-Law No. 48 of 2012 regarding the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its executive regulations.
