BAS signs MoU with Conserving Bounties to reduce Food Waste


Manama, September 28 (BNA) Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Conserving Bounties.

This partnership comes as part of the company’s ongoing initiative to support local organizations and the Bahraini community by distributing food to those in need.

The MoU was signed by Nabil Kanoo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bass, and Sheikh Ziyad bin Faisal Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Preservation of Awards.

BAS will provide its support to the community by collecting and donating food from its central kitchen and allocating meals to distribute to those in need on a regular basis, as well as assisting with community events and helping them achieve their goals and objectives. , and more.

BAS is committed to supporting local charities by implementing CSR initiatives that spread awareness about the issues prevalent in our community. Conserving Bounties is a Non-Profit Organization (NGO) specialized in collecting and packing surplus food items from hotels, restaurants and special events and redistributing them to less fortunate families, expatriate workers and individuals across the Kingdom.
