Barcelona, Spotify agree sponsorship deal worth 280 mln euros – report


Barcelona, ​​Feb. 7 (BNA): FC Barcelona is set to announce a shirt and stadium sponsorship agreement with Spotify, Catalan radio station RAC1 reports.


According to a Rac1 report, LaLiga has agreed a three-year deal with the music streaming platform worth 280 million euros ($320 million).


The report added that the deal will see Barcelona’s men’s and women’s team put the Spotify logo on their shirts, while the company will be the first brand to sponsor the club’s Camp Nou, with an official announcement expected on Tuesday.


Japanese retailer Rakuten has sponsored the men’s team since 2017 while kit maker Stanley Black & Decker became the official jersey sponsor for the women’s team in 2018, Reuters reports.


Barcelona and Spotify could not be reached for comment.
