Manama, September 4 (BNA) The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asumi praised the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in supporting humanitarian work in Bahrain and abroad. He stressed the Kingdom’s advanced position as a role model in charitable and humanitarian work, pointing to the role of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation in this regard.
The Speaker of the Arab House of Representatives made these statements on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity, which falls on the fifth of September, praising the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in implementing this initiative. His Majesty’s vision through a wide range of initiatives.
He also praised the efforts of His Majesty the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, and the Board of Trustees, Chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He stressed that His Highness’ contributions resulted in many achievements through relief and humanitarian aid provided to the needy in Bahrain and abroad.
