Bahrain’s embassy to U.S. hosts reception on National Days


Washington, Dec. 11 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States hosted a reception on the occasion of Bahrain’s celebrations of its national days, in celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic state, which was founded by Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. Opened in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne.

The celebration also coincides with the 51st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bahrain and America, in the presence of a number of senior officials.

In his speech, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, extended his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the people of Bahrain for this. special event.

The ambassador praised the long-standing Bahraini-American relations and the need to continue working to enhance cooperation, especially in the security, trade, economic, cultural and other fields.

He pointed to the importance of the agreements concluded between the two countries, including the joint defense cooperation agreement and the free trade agreement, which contributed to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries.

The ambassador said that under the leadership of His Majesty the King and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman, Bahrain has achieved many national achievements this year.
