Bahrain’s commitment to coexistence, tolerance highlighted

Cairo, February 15 (BNA) The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence, Dr. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, called on the participants to review the Bahrain Declaration to refer to peace and coexistence.



Sheikh Khaled participated in the 32nd conference of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Islamic Affairs under the title: “The Citizenship Contract and its Impact on Achieving Societal and Global Peace” under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.


He stressed that national policies concerned with tolerance and coexistence are the essence of development and prosperity in any human society.


The Chairman of the Board of Directors referred to the basics of Bahrain since its founding in 1762, all the way to the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.


He reviewed the Center’s efforts in promoting tolerance and coexistence in the Kingdom and the world.
