Bahrain’s Ambassador in Washington delivers lecture at MBMA

Manama, October 25 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa today visited the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies and was received by the Director General. Sheikha Munira bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.

During the visit, the ambassador praised the prominent role played by the Academy, stressing the importance of the continuous support that MBMA receives from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

He praised the Academy’s keenness to provide the best training programs that are in line with the requirements of diplomatic work inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, in order to achieve the desired goals that contribute to the rehabilitation of Bahraini diplomatic generations.

In the presence of a number of Foreign Ministry diplomats, the ambassador gave a lecture on diplomatic leadership, in which he referred to his extensive experience in government work, especially diplomatic work, in addition to highlighting the distinctive features that a diplomat should possess, and some of the challenges that missions may face and the means of devising the necessary solutions.

At the end of the visit, the ambassador toured the headquarters of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, including the diplomatic library.

For her part, the MBMA Director thanked the Ambassador for his continuous support to all programs and events organized by the Academy, noting that his professional experience is a valuable reference for all diplomats.
