Tashkent, May 2 (BNA): Bahraini runner Laila Kamal won third place and a bronze medal in the women’s 200-meter race at the 5th Asian Junior Championships.
The runner came in third place after finishing the race with a time of 24:48 seconds.
The winner of the third place came behind Lee Tiesto from Hong Kong, who finished first with a time of 24:27 seconds, while the Indian runner Rizwana came in second place with a time of 24:38 seconds.
Kamal won the women’s 100-meter race in first place with a time of 11:77 seconds, honoring the gold medal and becoming the fastest runner in the Asian region.
