Bahraini-Omani military relations discussed

Muscat, Jan. 11 (BNA) The Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, met today the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, Major General Abdullah Khamis Al-Raisi, at the headquarters of the Bahrain Defense Forces Staff Headquarters. They reviewed the ongoing military cooperation between the Bahrain Defense Force and the Sultan’s Armed Forces in the Sultanate of Oman, and ways to further enhance them, praising the steady progress in the well-established and deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries in all fields, especially in the fields. Joint military action and defense cooperation in order to achieve the common interests of the armed forces of the two countries.

The Chief of Staff also met with the Secretary-General of the Omani Ministry of Defense, Dr. Muhammad bin Nasser bin Ali Al Zaabi, in Al-Mala’a camp.

Al-Naimi also visited the Maritime Security Center, where he met the Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, Major General Saif bin Nasser Al-Rahbi.
