Manama, October 5 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, the Board of Directors of the Higher Education Authority. Chairman, Michael Horgan, and CEO, Dr. Alan Wall.


The Chairman and CEO of the Higher Education Authority welcomed the meeting with Dr. Sheikha Rana, expressing his hope that the meeting will yield positive results that will benefit the academic field in the two countries.


The two sides discussed the most prominent developments in the higher education sector, and reviewed the achievements of academic institutions in Bahrain and Ireland.


They also discussed future cooperation and ways to open wider horizons for exchanging experiences.


The Secretary-General of the Supreme Elections Committee stressed the need to strengthen cooperation with various countries in the academic fields, especially those with advanced experiences in education, in order to transfer successful practices to the Kingdom and highlight Bahrain’s efforts in the field of higher education.


She expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Chairman and CEO of HEA for their cooperation and readiness to enhance mutual cooperation.
