Brussels, March 14 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jaber Al-Dosari, met with the Speaker of the Belgian Parliament, Eliane Tello, in Brussels.
The ambassador reviewed the march of democracy and reform in the Kingdom of Bahrain led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stressed the participation of women in the democratic process and their appointment to many important leadership positions in the country. He referred to their participation in the private sector and civil society. He highlighted the economic recovery plan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which paved the way for further cooperation in the economic, trade and investment fields between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Belgium.
Eliane Tello praised the development of bilateral and parliamentary relations between the two countries, expressing keenness to strengthen them to serve the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
