Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi received US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Academic Programs Ethan Rosenzweig, in the presence of US Ambassador to Bahrain Stephen Bondy.
The minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen youth relations between the two countries and deepen cooperation through joint youth programmes.
Tawfiq gave an overview of the Bahraini model for investing in youth energy, which focuses on empowering youth leaders, building their capacities and skills, and supporting their projects, in addition to discovering talents, refining them, and highlighting them to contribute to shaping the future.
The two sides discussed prospects for bilateral work and ways to develop them in youth projects and initiatives that would contribute to enhancing youth participation in various fields.
