Bahrain travel entry procedures update

Manama, November 27 (BNA): Civil Aviation Affairs updated Bahrain’s red list countries in response to the recommendations of the National Task Force to combat the Corona Virus (Covid-19).

Four countries have been added to the Kingdom’s Red List:

– Republic of Malawi

– Republic of Mozambique

– Republic of Angola

– Republic of Zambia

Passengers from Red List countries, including those who transited through Red List countries, are prohibited from entering, with the exception of nationals or residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

All other travel procedures for arrivals who are eligible to enter the Kingdom of Bahrain from the non-red list remain in effect, and the red list countries remain in effect.

All entry procedures to the Kingdom of Bahrain can be found on the Ministry of Health website, healthalert.gov.bh.

According to the new update, the red list includes the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Namibia, the Republic of Botswana, the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Kingdom of Eswatini, the Republic of Malawi and the Republic of Mozambique. The Republic of Angola and the Republic of Zambia.

The Red List is reviewed and updated regularly based on the assessment of international developments by the National Coronavirus (COVID-19) Medical Task Force.
