Bahrain to take part in 2022 World Jiu Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi

Manama, October 13 (BNA) Bahrain is intensifying its preparations to participate in the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which will be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on November 2 and 9.

His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Sports Authority, Chairman of the Bahrain Martial Arts Council, visited the training of the national team for the upcoming competition.

He was received by the President of the Bahraini Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Reda Ibrahim Al-Manfardi, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmed Janahi, Secretary-General Hussain Al-Tarif and other officials.

His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa attended part of the training led by coach of the national jiu-jitsu team Sergio Moraes.

He met with the fighters and stressed the importance of financial and technical preparation, expressing confidence in the team’s ability to achieve positive results and honoring the Kingdom of Bahrain.
