Bahrain to play Egypt in two friendly handball matches

Manama, October 10 (BNA) Bahrain is intensifying its preparations for the IHF World Men’s Handball Championship 2023, which will be hosted by the International Handball Federation in Poland and Sweden from January 11 to 29.

The national team will meet Egypt in two friendly matches to be held on Friday and Saturday (October 14 and 15).

The Icelandic team, led by Iceland coach Aaron Kristjsonon, will manage the first phase of its training camp, while the second phase will start after the ninth round of the Khalid bin Hamad League next November.

Bahrain was drawn in Group H, which also includes Denmark, Belgium and Tunisia.

The national coach has lined up 26 players for the training camp, and they are Hussein Al-Sayed, Muhammad Abdul-Hussein, Ali Mirza, Ahmed Al-Maqabi, Hassan Al-Samahaji, Muhammad Mirza, Ali Eid, Kamil Mahfouz, Qasim Qambar, Jassim Al-Salatne, Saud Al.
