Bahrain to participate in Arabian Travel Market 2023

Manama, April 21 (BNA): Bahrain will participate in the annual Arabian Travel Market exhibition, which will be held from May 1 to 4. The 2023 edition is expected to attract up to 2,000 exhibitors from all over the world

Minister of Tourism Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Serafi held a meeting with officials and managers of hotels and other hospitality companies that will participate in the Bahrain Pavilion.

The session was also attended by the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Dr. Nasser Al-Qaidi, which focused on preparations for participating in the annual event and promoting the Kingdom as a leading destination in the region.

The minister stressed the importance of focusing on the countries that export the largest number of tourists and the main tourism markets in the world, by promoting joint cooperation at the regional and international levels.

“The Arabian Travel Market exhibition provides an opportunity to promote Bahrain on the global tourism map, attract tourists and highlight the hospitality sector in the Kingdom,” she said.

The Ministry will hold meetings with representatives of the media in the Arabian Travel Market and decision-makers in major companies specialized in incentive packages, conferences and exhibitions from all participating countries.

The aim is to enhance cooperation with partners and investors in the sector and to attract more visitors to Bahrain from tourism-exporting countries. Al-Serafi said around the world within the framework of the objectives of the tourism strategy 2022-2026.
