Manama, February 18 (BNA) Health Minister Faeqa bint Saud Al-Saleh received a delegation from the Bahrain Nursing Society headed by Dr. Jamila Jassim Mukhaimer, Chairman of the Board.
The meeting was also attended by the Vice-President of the Bahraini Nursing Society, Mahbouba Zainal, the Secretary-General, Hamida Abdel Wahab, and the Treasurer, Lamis Daoud.
The meeting focused on issues related to the profession in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to the invitation extended to the Minister to attend the upcoming Global Nursing Conference.
The conference, which will be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain in December 2022, will be held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
Under the theme “Investing in Nursing for Health Security,” the conference is expected to be attended by 500 participants, including researchers, keynote speakers and officials.
