Manama, October 17 (BNA) Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al-Saleh said that the Kingdom of Bahrain is honored to host the seventh meeting of health ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the 84th General Conference of Health Ministers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries on Thursday, preceded by the preparatory meeting of the undersecretaries of health ministries on Wednesday.
The minister stressed that the meeting will be an extension of what has been achieved during previous health meetings to meet the aspirations of the GCC states in human and health development.
The meeting will review the efforts of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in confronting the Corona virus epidemic and discuss cooperation in the field of the repercussions of the epidemic, vaccines and methods of prevention. In addition to many common health issues, recommendations and decisions that must be taken to improve health services provided to citizens and residents in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
