Bahrain Summer Festival 2022 opens its doors to public

Manama, July 11 (BNA) The Gold Edition of the 14th Bahrain Summer has opened its doors to the public in celebration of Bahrain’s outstanding achievements.




The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) organized cultural activity programmes, workshops and live entertainment shows.




Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, received the visitors and shed light on the festival’s programs and activities.




“We welcome all our visitors at the start of this extraordinary festival that brings different people and cultures together and celebrates the many young talents,” said BACA President.




She referred to the festival’s activities and workshops coordinated by various initiatives and embassies.




“The Pakistani Embassy in Bahrain, in cooperation with the All Pakistan Women’s Association (APWA), is delighted to participate in this festival and present a three-day workshop under the slogan ‘The Art of Trucks’ and we aim to share this world-class art with Tahira Saleem, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Pakistan.




The workshops feature a dynamic range of topics that include various cultural and sustainable activities, cooking, gasping, crafts, and much more.




“We are pleased to showcase Thai cooking through our three-day participation, which features different cultural cuisines, and I am glad that the children will enjoy this fun and unique activity,” said Thailand’s Ambassador to Bahrain Pyabak Sirisharwin.

The celebration offers educational and entertainment programs for all ages.




Fatima Ali, one of the participants, said, “I enjoyed participating in different workshops from drawing to cooking, it was fun discovering new activities and enriching my hobbies and interests.”





Visitors can participate in and attend the various Bahrain Summer Festival activities and performances from 11 to 31 July from 5 to 9 pm at the Bahrain National Museum, Arts Center and Cultural Hall.
