Manama, March 13 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned and denounced the missile attack on the city of Erbil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, where several missiles targeted the Consulate General of the United States of America in Iraq. The city, and damaged the headquarters of the “Kurdistan 24” TV channel, in a cowardly terrorist act that represents a flagrant violation of international law and clearly targets the security, safety and stability of the sisterly Republic of Iraq.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full support for the Republic of Iraq in all the measures it takes to maintain its security and territorial integrity. He affirmed his firm stance in rejecting violence and terrorism in all its forms, calling on the international community to condemn such acts aimed at destabilizing the region and its peoples.
