Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): The Bahrain Sports Summit is preparing for tomorrow, Saturday, at the Intercontinental Regency Bahrain Hotel, and will continue until February 9.
The event is being held under the patronage of the First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The General Sports Authority will organize the summit in cooperation with Khalid bin Hamad Initiatives.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, praising the royal patronage of the youth and sports sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He praised the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He stressed the importance of the Bahraini Sports Summit as a road map for the development of sports in the Kingdom, stressing the role of specialists and local and international experiences in developing recommendations.
