Manama, June 6 (BNA): Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at positioning the two countries as joint regional and global tourism destinations.
Not only does this historic agreement mark a pivotal milestone in bilateral relations, but it also paves the way for a massive increase in their respective tourism sectors.
This agreement comes in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad. Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Serafi, and the Saudi Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khatib.
This partnership aims to strengthen relations and enhance cooperation in the field of tourism.
The memorandum includes multiple provisions that expand the scope of tourism cooperation between the two countries, and promote greater cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
