Bahrain role model for peaceful coexistence, tolerance: Lawmaker

Manama, July 1 (BNA) Head of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee in the House of Representatives, Representative Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Buainain affirmed that the Kingdom has a distinct and deep-rooted experience in this field. For comprehensive development, noting that the development process in Bahrain has accelerated since the launch of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the launch of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

He pointed out that the Kingdom has become a role model for peace and coexistence between different religions and sects, thanks to the policies of His Majesty the King and the enlightened reforms that made Bahrain an oasis of peace and tolerance.

In this regard, he stressed that everyone is proud of what the Kingdom has achieved in the areas of peaceful coexistence and tolerance, to become the best destination for followers of different sects.

The MP indicated that the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attached great importance to economic and human development, in addition to infrastructure and urban development, which contributed to achieving economic and human development. The Millennium Development Goals paved the way for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

In a statement on the occasion of the Conference of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, which was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, under the slogan “Strengthening the role of national parliaments in promoting global peace and sustainable development,” Representative Al-Sisi Al-Buainain stressed the importance of the role of national parliaments in achieving sustainable development goals and improving levels of living for its citizens.
