Bahrain Polytechnic holds 7th graduation ceremony

Manama, June 15 (BNA) The Minister of Education and the minister responsible for supervising and controlling the work of Bahrain Polytechnic, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, attended the graduation ceremony for the batches of 2019-2020 and 2021-2022. Bahrain Polytechnic was held today at the Bahrain Hall at its headquarters in Isa Town, in the presence of a number of ministers, officials and guests.

In his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Al-Nuaimi expressed his happiness at the graduation of new batches of Bahrain Polytechnic students, stressing that the outstanding achievements made by Bahrain Polytechnic are a fruitful outcome of its commitment to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. As well as the result of the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop the educational process in the Kingdom.

The Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Polytechnic, the president and members of the administrative and teaching staff for their dedicated efforts that contributed to achieving its achievements and distinction. He also extended his congratulations to the graduates and their parents, expressing his confidence that they will contribute to building the nation to the fullest.

He stressed that the Ministry of Education will continue its efforts to ensure strong interdependence between technical schools, the Bahrain Training Institute, the College of Applied Studies at the University of Bahrain and Bahrain Polytechnic to unify national efforts in this regard, noting that 36% of intermediate students wish to enroll in technical schools.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Education launched a number of educational curricula related to artificial intelligence and robotics for all academic levels, in addition to promoting the principle of equal opportunities between male and female students by providing appropriate technical and technical specializations for female students. .

He stressed that efforts to develop technical and vocational education will continue in cooperation with UNESCO and international think tanks, adding that the Center of Excellence for Technical and Vocational Education at the Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology is working in coordination with UNESCO to provide courses. And workshops for teachers in this field that contribute to the development of technical and vocational education outcomes in the Kingdom.

Then the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Polytechnic, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, delivered a statement. He stressed that the achievements made by Bahrain Polytechnic came as a result of the directives and interests of the government, led by His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, and the efforts of the Supreme Council to develop education and training to build human resource capabilities in the Kingdom.

He praised the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training’s support for Bahrain Polytechnic’s strategy aimed at ensuring that its outputs meet the current and future needs of the labor market.

He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Education for supervising and controlling the work of Bahrain Polytechnic.
