Bahrain participates in international anti-terror conference in Tajikistan  

Dushanbe, October 19 (BNA) The delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain, headed by the Head of the Strategic Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nancy Abdullah Jamal, participated in the high-level international conference on “international and regional”. Regional border security and administrative cooperation to combat terrorism and prevent the movement of terrorists.

The two-day conference was co-organized by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, and the Organization for International Security and Cooperation. Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the European Union (EU), with the support of the State of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

In a speech before the conference, Ambassador Nancy Jamal affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to combating terrorism and the various threats posed by terrorist organizations and their illegal and cross-border activities, stressing the Kingdom’s position on combating terrorism, which is a priority for His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. successor.

She highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts in this field, noting its membership in local, regional and international border security systems, and its effective participation in a number of relevant groups and alliances, explaining that the ability to protect state borders is a true testament to that. The Kingdom’s law enforcement force and well-established legal infrastructure.
