The two-day conference was co-organized by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, the United Nations Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, and the Organization for International Security and Cooperation. In a speech before the conference, Ambassador Nancy Jamal affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to combating terrorism and the various threats posed by terrorist organizations and their illegal and cross-border activities, stressing the Kingdom’s position on combating terrorism, which is a priority for His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. successor.
She highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts in this field, noting its membership in local, regional and international border security systems, and its effective participation in a number of relevant groups and alliances, explaining that the ability to protect state borders is a true testament to that.
