Manama, March 16 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,961.19 points, recording a decrease of 8.18 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the financial sector and the materials sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 739.65 points, up by 0.89 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 141 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 2,540,405, with a value of 1,055,469 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 46.30% of the total value of traded securities.
