Manama, October 5 (BNA) Bahrain lost 2-0 to Oman today in the third match of Group C in the 2023 AFC U-17 Cup qualifiers.
The decisive match was held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex stadium in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
Omani Tamim Al Buraiki scored the first goal with a penalty kick for the first time in added time, before sealing the final victory in the 62nd minute of the match.
Oman now total 6 points, while Bahrain’s tally stands at 4 points from three matches. The national team plays its last match in the group against Iraq tomorrow.
