Bahrain, Jordan sign agreement to boost cooperation in youth field

Manama, Jan. 5 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi affirmed the distinguished and long-standing historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. She referred to the remarkable development in bilateral cooperation thanks to the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Jordanian monarch, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.

This came during the signing today of an executive program for cooperation in the field of youth between the Bahraini and Jordanian governments for the years 2023-2025. The program was signed by the Minister of Youth Affairs and the Jordanian Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faria, on the sidelines of the official visit of the Jordanian Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh.

The Minister of Youth Affairs indicated that the agreement signed between the two countries is in line with the efforts of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to expand the scope of cooperation with brotherly countries. . She added that it is also in line with the directives of His Majesty the King’s Personal Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to develop the capabilities of Bahraini youth.
