Bahrain-Israel agreement aims at creating sustainable peace, regional security

Manama, November 12 (BNA): The signing of an agreement between Bahrain and Israel does not change the Kingdom’s position on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

This was stated by Sheikh Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Political Affairs, at a press conference held at the Bahrain Media Center for Elections.

He added that Bahrain is looking forward to a sustainable solution to this conflict.

The agreement with Israel is a way forward to build bridges between Israel and its Arab neighbors, and it does not change the position of Bahrain or the support of its brothers.

In response to a question about the efforts of Bahrain and the UAE to help end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, he said that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates are two prominent figures in the country. region, and will continue to assist in the rapprochement between Russia and Ukraine.

Russia and Ukraine accepted the agreement, and both the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE will remain committed to achieving peace and security between the two countries.

Sheikh Abdullah stressed that Bahrain, in principle, adheres to non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.

He stressed that Bahrain will remain committed to respecting the sovereignty of each country and not interfering in the internal affairs of others.
